It is said, ‘A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.’

The students of grades 3C and 3H showcased a thought-provoking assembly on the preservation of trees on 22nd November 2022. The students staged a spectacular skit, presenting a group of people desperately wanting to cut healthy trees for their selfish and monetary gains and how a heroic family comes forward to save the trees even at the risk of putting themselves in danger. The message of the assembly was crisp and clearly relayed to the audience.

The assembly was followed by a dental workshop conducted by Dr. Aravindan Selvaraj, a specialist Periodontist, working at NMC Sharjah, who is also the parent of a Grade 3 student. Dr. Selvaraj commenced the session on Oral hygiene with a discussion on various ways to maintain good oral health. He then went on to enlighten the students with the best brushing techniques along with a demonstration followed by Quiz Time activity to brush up their knowledge and rewarded each correct answer with the gift of an oral hygiene kit.

It was indeed a fun filled and productive day.
